Trump political strategy: 1. Break something that was working perfectly fine 2. Escalate/exacerbate problem 3. Immediately walk back process that exacerbated original issue 4. Declare that he fixed it meanwhile leaving a trail of destruction in his path and harming massive amounts of people

Goddamnit... and just like that @bradlander.bsky.social becomes "Warren" and says some bullshit about @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social. Concern trolling Zohran over a "scary" word (intifada) is counter productive. Centrist Libs and not adopting bucket of crabs mentality challenge: impossible.

I will never understand the argument that because some homeless people don't want help, we shouldn't offer free shelter to them. If we somehow come up with a way to offer shelter to all homeless people and one of them refuses, do we throw the whole program in the trash? What's the logic here?

You don't want a manufacturing job. What you want is a well paying, stable job that can provide for your family. Manufacturing jobs could be labor intensive and back breaking. People that worked those jobs wanted better for their children. They didn't want their children to work in a factory.

Recently (within like the last 4 years), I've become more and more frustrated with narratives involving taxation and Federal level government spending. If it's a Congressional Budget item, taxes do not fund it. Images like this push incorrect narratives about debt/deficits From /r/dataisbeautiful:

Nothing says "Trump Administration" or "Declining Empire" like statutorily instituting tariffs and then being unable to collect them because of a... *checks notes*... glitch. www.cnbc.com/2025/04/11/c...

Dude bankrupts a casino and then turns around, becomes president and bankrupts an even bigger casino and motherfuckers still out here saying, "Well, I voted for him but not for this."

Oh look... the Republicans are going to ignore the parliamentarian again. Meanwhile... in 2021 the Democrats took their ball and went home because of the parliamentarian. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW USELESS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY HAS HISTORICALLY BEEN. So pathetic.

Din Djarin is hands down my favorite character in the new Star Wars era, but #Andor is far and away the superior series in the franchise and it's not even close. I can't believe it took me so long to sit down and watch it.

Happy Coop Day to all who celebrate!

BREAKING: Yuval Abraham, co-director of Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land," says Israeli settlers beat his co-director Hamdan Ballal, injuring his head and stomach — and then Israeli soldiers invaded the ambulance he was in and seized him. Ballal's whereabouts are now unknown.
