Don’t take my word for it — check for yourself: TheyWorkForYou voting record Public Whip summary UK Parliament profile He’s not for the people. He’s for the profit. #UKPolitics #KnowYourVote

Here’s his record on workers’ rights: ❌ Voted against banning fire-and-rehire ❌ Opposed stronger sick pay and maternity protections ❌ Defended zero-hours contracts ❌ Suggested charging for NHS services

And the UK seems to be going towards fascism. Well done Canada and Australia.

6. It doesn’t happen all at once. It starts with jokes. Laws. Lists. Silences. 7. America is just the loudest warning — but the shift is everywhere. UK, Hungary, India, Russia. Watch closely. 8. Fascism doesn’t knock. It seeps in through apathy, fear, and "not now".

3. Then queer people. Then women who spoke. Then the disabled, the poor, the sick. 4. Each time, people said “it’s complicated” or “not my problem.” 5. But it is your problem. Because when they’re done with everyone else… you’ll be next. #transrights #disabledrights #LGBTrights

2. Then they came for the trans community. Rights erased. Histories rewritten. Lives endangered — again.

Thatcher didn’t just castrate the country—she rewired it to serve capital over community. As Monbiot said: “Neoliberalism sees competition as the defining characteristic of human relations.” That rot runs deep—and it’s still shaping our spineless foreign policy.

I absolutely agree. The problem isn’t just Trump — it’s the echo chamber that gives Farage and his ilk oversized influence. Post-Brexit Britain talks big, acts small. Canada stood firm. We roll out red carpets for authoritarians and call it diplomacy.

If you're not standing against the Republican agenda, you're standing with it. This is the time for moral clarity, not photo ops. Enough appeasement. Enough enabling.
comment in response to post
We aren’t just damaging our own credibility. We’re signalling to the world that rights don’t matter if you're rich, white, and loud enough. Meanwhile, Americans are losing reproductive, voting, and trans rights.
comment in response to post
Inviting him is not diplomacy—it’s laundering authoritarian propaganda under the guise of tradition. The King's speech shouldn't be a platform for American extremism.
comment in response to post
The UK is supposedly committed to curbing misinformation—so why is Trump being welcomed to speak in Parliament? This isn’t a neutral act. It’s legitimizing a known architect of disinformation.

you’re wired for brilliance in a world that still runs on rigid rules. And I see you.

ADHD brings creativity, empathy, intuition, resilience. You feel deeply, you notice things others miss, and your brain can light up in ways neurotypicals only dream of. Missing one appointment doesn’t erase your worth. You’re not broke,
comment in response to post
Oh , I feel this so hard. Time is fake and ADHD knows it! But please don’t call yourself useless—your brain just runs on a different frequency, and that frequency is magic.

We need to push back hard on this. It’s not about fairness—it’s about who gets thrown under the bus next.

It feels completely made up—like they just plucked it out of the air to make cuts seem legitimate. And have you noticed? The media's barely going after migrants anymore—it’s the disabled they’re scapegoating now. Same playbook, different target.
comment in response to post
Totally. That’s why we backed that Constitution-based letter—because these cuts aren’t just cruel, they’re on shaky legal ground. This new “4 points in one category” rule? No evidence base, no transparency.
comment in response to post
This ruling is erasing people not just in the present, but from our entire human story. And that’s why it’s so dangerous.

From Two-Spirit identities in Indigenous cultures, to medieval English people living as another gender in religious life or daily work, to the Kathoey in Thailand—people have always lived outside strict binaries.
comment in response to post
Yes, exactly—you’re angry because you see a person, not just a gender. And that’s the heart of it. What’s even more frustrating is how this is being framed as a “modern issue” or a “trend”—when actually, history shows that gender diversity has always existed.
comment in response to post
It strips dignity from both trans women and trans men.
comment in response to post
What happens if an officer claims they were made uncomfortable? What if abuse happens either way? This creates fear, vulnerability, and serious legal and ethical complications. It’s discriminatory and chaotic. Gender Recognition Certificates are being rendered meaningless.
