He did not work for Walz, he was reappointed to a bipartisan commission. He had a hit list of 70, including Demoractic lawmakers, abortion providers, and pro-abortion activists. Spin all you want then delete your account.

okay so we've got -- DHS goons handcuffing a U.S. Senator -- Marines in LA violating posse comitatus -- political assassinations in MN And that's just, like, the last couple of days

@governorwalz.mn.gov: "The road to authoritarianism is littered with people telling you you're overreacting."

I know there's a lot going on, but the Secretary of Homeland Security declaring that federal troops are in California and Los Angeles to "liberate" the state and city from its duly-elected leaders really is a fourteen-alarm fire.

We have been working on a story about the run of ICE impersonators robbing and terrorizing mostly Latino businesses. Now this has jumped to impersonating cops for politically motivated assassinations.

When Stephen Miller gave the orders to ICE to conceal identity, Miller helped get these elected officials shot. He’s complicit in these attacks. Impeach, remove, prosecute, imprison.

How many times has this happened already? How many times will it happen in the coming years? The idiots who fired the competent people suddenly realize they are out of their depth.

Sorry, cancer patients, but we just don't have the money. We had to prioritize spending tens of millions on a military parade so the president could compensate for his many personal inadequacies. I'm sure you understand.

RFK Jr’s ACIP pick, Martin Kulldorff, said one of the most disturbing images from the pandemic was a toddler crying about having to wear a mask. I see toddlers cry about everything all the time, and I found it far more disturbing to see refrigerator trucks full of body bags outside of the hospitals…

The country would be immeasurably better off if the NYT permanently replaced David Brooks with this guy.

Full list of Biggie tracks improved by Diddy mumbling in the background, being a jackass, and repeating what Biggie just said:

Proud dad moment. Congratulations, Gus!

Against all odds, Joni Ernst has made it worse

you guys that is 12.5% of the electorate of the united states lmao this is "grind him into the fucking dirt with no mercy" shit

If you're going to watch Murderbot on Apple TV, consider adding it to your watchlist. It's kind of like pre-ordering a book, it tells the streaming service that you're there for our show. Link for US viewers: tv.apple.com/us/show/murd... (You can also search for it on the app.)

This is absolutely terrible news. With the shifting regulatory climate (i.e., antivax ratfuckery), Moderna has withdrawn their application for their eagerly anticipated COVID-flu combo vaccine. This vaccine offered better protection than getting each shot separately. h/t @merz.bsky.social

Shoutout to Whitney Plantation, who has always BANNED WEDDINGS at their location and allowed the entire facility and its grounds to be an indoor and outdoor museum. It also houses the genealogical records for over 100,000 enslaved people. You can search for your loved ones in its archives.

For anyone who needs some GOOD news, Nottoway Plantation—burial site of countless victims of the rape, maiming, and slaughter of the formerly enslaved but where white people love to brunch & get married—has burned to the ground. May the ancestors continue to rest peacefully. Amen.

500K Mexican-Americans served in the U.S. armed forces in WWII, as did millions of 1st and 2nd-gen immigrants, and 109K noncitizens. Mexican immigrant Macario Garcia won the Medal of Honor in Normandy. When he returned to the US, he was was arrested for trying to eat at a segregated restaurant.

*Logs onto Bluesky, sees that most of the discourse is just Democrats yelling at each other about where the party should go* *Logs off*

Sing it from the rooftops: congestion pricing in NYC is an unambiguous triumph. It is succeeding beyond its backers wildest aspirations & none of the second-order effects people worried about have come to pass. It's a pure win. Celebrate it! Talk about it! For once, let's own the f'ing narrative.
