Rip my prediction, but 2 ain’t bad! Haven’t been testing that seriously for this event season, but Verdance has honestly been a huge standout in this field. Alongside Florian, both heroes have meta defining questions they are asking of their opponents. Excited to watch t8 tomorrow!

This comes back to my actual biggest criticism of the otherwise well implemented system - weekly LL updates are really difficult for players/consumers to keep up with 😅 I think monthly or biseasonal updates would be ideal

In the new system, any hero that hits LL within the same season they are “buffed” was always going to be on the edge of LL, and/or has had plenty of competitive relevance in past metas to accrue LL points. Plus this is a great way to sunset older heroes that are lagging at the finish line.

Getting to play your hero and cards in a constructed format for 2-4 years is an unheard of value proposition in pretty much any other TCG on the market afaik. Yes, it feels bad to see that your hero functionally needs ~100 fewer LL points before they go. But LSS will revisit heroes and classes!!

1.5x multiplier objectively will lead to less time for some players to enjoy their heroes. But from the actual numbers and design intent by LSS, players would realistically still get 6-18 months to play those heroes after any sort of buff (ie ROS for Vis, OUT for Aza).
