For Puss that means confronting his eventual death, his own mortality. Death is actually stalking him throughout the movie and he runs every time. And in the end he realizes…
How else do we face death, but with courage.

Hondo was a favorite of mine as a kid, that and the Cowboys. I did a rewatch not long ago and the movie was better in my memory than the revisit but still enjoyed a lot of it.
Doesn’t hold up the same as the Wild Bunch or Magnificent Seven.

Now that’s eclectic. I recently watched Rush Hour with my daughter because it was her friend’s favorite movie.
It required some explaining at parts… but a fun watch.

Same here, bit of an oddity for me that I saw the stage musical on PBS at a young age and it stuck with me. When the Hollywood movie version came out I saw a copy of the book at Target with Wolverines face on it and I had the realization “Wait it’s a book too.”
In went to an NYC public school.

This was the series that my kids grew up watching in the Theaters that I was also 100% on board for. We’re all going to the live action movie together.

I have been meaning to do a rewatch of the Eastwood Westerns, I did a little rewatch of some classic John Wayne films this summer.
