It absolutely did, and it shows through the limitations of the characters. The women are to one degree or another all smug and self-assured (even Molly shows glimpses of this), and all of the men are on a slider of stupidity, from "a little slow on the uptake" to "how is this guy still breathing".

I’ve always interpreted “The Way” as a really dark mom rock or “minivan rock” sound while “One Headlight” was pure dad rock (or “divorced dad rock” as kids call it now). Interesting to see what you two think!

Looks like to me they're setting up for Blaze and everyone important from Sol Dimension to merge into the main reality. The dialogue seems to be foreshadowing this eventuality, perhaps building up to it happening in issue #100.

“All I Ever Am” by The Cure ends on the word “stop”.

I've always been curious what James Hetfield's voice sounded like in-between Black Album and the new sound he had on Load/Reloaded, and this is literally like the perfect fusion of those two singing voices. Wow.

"It's Amazing To Be Young" by Fontaines D.C., "I Want You (Fever)" by Momma (yes that's the band's name), and "People Watching" by Sam Fender are incredible but none of those are going to touch the Hot 100.
"Basic Being Basic" by Djo might start approaching the Hot 100 soon, time will tell there.

Appreciate the link. It's been difficult to keep track of many creators lately, and I've been enjoying her webcomic a good deal and have likely missed out on some updates.

All of the major social media sites have huge flaws. We have to decide which flaws we’re willing to put up with.

I honestly do blame Pitchfork for the destruction of rock music. It was Pitchfork and similar outlets strongly promoting an elitist mindset with their preferred folk-pop fare and spitting on all other forms of rock, destroying the emo and (emerging) dirty rock movements that the public liked.

This is a huge American problem. We need Americans to start enjoying rock again because there’s so much vibrant rock that deserves more attention right now on both sides of the Atlantic. Even Stargazing, while a top 40 hit here, was mostly powered by radio not streams Stateside.

Healthy palm trees in the middle of December is not what I normally think of when it comes to South Carolina. Wow.

Yes! Texas deserves far more attention! Especially for indie creators and smaller “big company” projects, Texas has a nice roster of great voice actors and their studios can all pull in Los Angeles actors remotely if requested. A couple of them even have small L.A. studio spaces ready to be used.

I put “The Tower” by Future Islands on my year-end top 50 list if it means anything. Also put on “Classical” by Vampire Weekend. I think that’s it for Pitchfork-core on my list though. A shift has definitely occurred and modern indie tends to be louder and heavier like Fontaines D.C. or IDLES.
