My friend said this picture of a bubble I did filled him with dread, so I felt it was only natural to post it here too

REAL American patriots wear birkenstocks, love lattes, live in big city, eat hot dip, and are bisexual

The GOP was happy to let Musk play kingmaker if they could have his blood money (articles about Wisco's supreme court election after Crawford won were filled with quotes from gobsmacked WisGOP officials that Musk's money didn't bag it up for them). But now he's defying their cult leader, so...

please stop whatever you're doing and look at this coyote that the wildlife rehab center of MN posted. little grumpy baby.

Reading over the text, one thing sticks out immediately: it is incredibly racist toward Haitians in particular. Quoting directy: "Additionally, hundreds of thousands of illegal Haitian aliens flooded into the United States during the Biden Administration. This influx harms American communities..."

Is everyone on my feed watching the NYC mayoral debate lmao

A Florida weatherman telling his viewers he can no longer be confident in his forecasts due to cuts to atmospheric science is the kind of resistance content I’m here for. Kudos, Sir.🌦️

You heard it here: if you voted for this guy, no Switch 2 for you

I have more thoughts here, but for now: 1. VA and NJ this year are gonna be huge, huge smoke signals for how bad things look for the GOP 2. Wisconsin had midterm level turnout, incl. fairly high Rep turnout, and the shift to the Dem-backed candidate was by double digits vs 2024 regardless.

What this means (if the trend holds, big if) is that the Democrats are on track to win the largest midterm popular vote victory for an opposition party in modern American history.

I’m so excited to announce that my book was published today! The book retells the life of Charles Sumner, an abolitionist senator who co-framed the Reconstruction Amendments. I wrote this book with my blood, sweat & tears as a student at Yale Law School. (1/x)

24-year-old Dem Keishan Scott just won tonight's special election in SC by 41 points. Two key notes: • It's a 36-point overperformance vs. 2024—the second-biggest of the year • The district has a 51% Black voting-age pop, making it the first majority-POC district to hold a special this year

Even by the depravity of Trump 2.0 this is depraved

Last day of the school year for the kiddos tomorrow. Their energy levels are off the charts

if you can solve the series of riddles that leads to the very center of the internet, you, too, can learn the truth of the Secret Italian Supercat

Please help I'm transforming into a fitness guy why am I reading about glycogen storage

Three Palestinian students were shot in Vermont. A Palestinian six-year-old was murdered by his pro-Israel landlord. A Texas woman was indicted for trying to drown a 3-year-old Palestinian girl. We don't have to make this comparison to condemn what happened in Boulder on Sunday. We really don't.

When collecting scattered crumbs of flour from the ground becomes the last way to feed the children, you realize that hunger in Gaza has worn down both the young and the old... This is the reality we live — no exaggeration, just the painful truth. 🔗 gofund.me/3bf5f14b paypal.me/AlaaAbuzenada

I don't say stuff like this to troll or upset people. But fundamentally I want the Republicans to lose as many elections as possible for enabling the rise of fascism in America. To that end, that means flipping their voters whenever plausible.

Did almost 40 push-ups tonight... yeah sorry the fitness posting will continue until morale improves

I keep seeing messages that say Prepare! Pack your go bag! And yes, but have you ever seen a washed out bridge? There’s no bag you can back that puts a bridge back. That’s what government is for and it’s not replaceable by anything you can do on your own.

Love the chant of "shame" because 1. yes. What is being done to people by ICE is shameful. And 2. We need to make certain things shameful. We can't have this "well shame is Problematic because it's sometimes used in bad ways" view. Shame has good social purposes sometimes.

I believe your average DOGE staffer - a mid twentysomething zoomer guy - represents a new iteration on a familiar type of guy. They think people who do public service are cringe losers, that the world is dog eat dog, and that money > everything else. All of them were raised rich, ofc.

Even by the standards of this shameful administration this is something lmao

I think the basic issue with Stranger Things - and I say this as a fan - is that they've basically retrofitted it to be a movie franchise instead of a show.

I've said this before, but Poland reminds me a lot of Wisconsin in terms of its politics (+ lots of people with Polish ancestry live here)

The cat trees are blooming early this year.

Only $30 in the past 3 days — that’s all we’ve received. It’s not even enough to buy drinking water. Any donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference in these hard times . 🙏🙏

The Ukrainians carrying out an operation this expansive and effective is them really telling Trump what they think of him trying to force them to make peace with Russia lol

Will his kid be taking 100,000s of dollars from Russia, no questions asked, as well Tim?

I think it's easier to understand the current media environment once you understand that a whole bunch of ambitious people are looking at our descent into authoritarian oligarchy and thinking it's a great opportunity to audition as a courtier.

Getting my rage on, give me a bit and I'll be back to letting my rage simmer instead of be out in the open.

People of conscience should not permit this man to give an interview that isn't about the human cost of massacring USAID ever again.
