Non voters did not do this, and Dems do share part of the blame for choosing to lose. I'm sorry you don't believe in things like responsibility or taking ownership of your actions(or inactions), but regardless I hope you get out there and start trying to help people!
comment in response to
post
Cool, you should get out there and help the people facing the consequences of Dems irresponsible actions!
comment in response to
post
You're not part of any resistance, but I hope you get out there and clean up the mess Dems created by not bothering to try and earn votes.

The person she's replying to was randomly getting mad(in February of 2025) about that "ok boomer" girl in the Bernie shirt.
comment in response to

I want you to stop grandstanding and get out there to help people.

Is it more or less cringe than you whining about Sanders in 2025.
comment in response to
post
That really is part of it.

The message, which is the thing you said earlier, would be conveyed to them via phone, letter, or even online means. Or you could just stop pestering people online instead of getting out there and helping people!
comment in response to

That's another thing you made up to yell at me about instead of going out and helping people.
comment in response to

Sounds like a good message to send Kamala and the Dems. That is, it would be if you cared about helping the people they threw into danger, which you don't.
comment in response to
post
That's actually a thing you made up about me so you could whine at a stranger online instead of helping people. Why is she and her party not responsible for their actions(or inactions)?

Harris did not try to win. Why is she and her party not responsible for their actions(or inactions)? Why are you pestering other people instead of trying to help them, or hold the powerful accountable?
comment in response to

Al Gore won and then Dems immediately rolled over and surrendered when Republicans said "no", which I guess is still better than their current strategy of not even trying to win in the first place.

You didn't use that term correctly. Correct, the only vote that helps a candidate is a vote for that candidate. You forgot to respond to my post again, by the way. I'll attach it here.

Sounds like Dems should have tried to prevent that suffering by making an effort to earn more votes.

There is no point in coddling bigots, and actively courting them is evil(as well as pointless). Simply call a spade a spade and focus elsewhere. That's not what cost Hillary the campaign, by the way. No one crying about "deplorables" was ever going to do anything but vote Trump, regardless.

Yes.

Whoops, you made up stuff to get mad about and forgot to respond to my post. Here it is again.

They didn't run his platform, they ran a campaign that had similar economic messaging and tone. And they got blown out, easily.
comment in response to

Calling a bigot a bigot is correct. It's not condescending, and there is a very easy way for them not to be called that anymore.
comment in response to

Too bad Dems apparently weren't aware.
comment in response to

You are really bad at your job. It's a really easy, job, too. Like basically the easiest job there is.
comment in response to

Stancil is so good at knowing average voter thoughts that he lost his race big time when his opponent showed people his tweets. Then Dems ran a campaign based on his economic concepts and lost incredibly badly.
comment in response to
post
Eventually the Dems themselves will have to improve their practices, obviously. You can only get so far when the party will crack down harder on a socialist primary candidate than against any Republican, but it's a start.
comment in response to
post
Ew, tangibly helping people? How crude.
comment in response to
post
Sounds like she's a coward with bad politics who'd rather maintain her easy, cushy job than actually help her constituents.
comment in response to

It didn't help Trump win, Dems refusing to campaign meaningfully against him is what allowed him to win. He would have had the exact same amount of votes if he ran no ads whatsoever. And it's not their biggest concern, btw. They're just bigots.
comment in response to

The only vote that helps fascists is a vote cast for one. Why aren't you out there pestering those people, or pressuring Dems to try harder, or even just helping people? All you're doing right now is helping the fascists.
comment in response to

You replied to me first and continue to do so, so I'm not sure why you're upset about getting the attention you wanted. Why are you still here critiquing me instead of out there helping people?
comment in response to

I'm not really obligated to engage with the demands of internet pests who've determined that the path to electoral victory is shrieking at me on bluesky, sorry!
comment in response to
post
They didn't try at all. Especially when it comes to Gaza.
comment in response to
post
Why didn't the Dems do anything against the fascist?
comment in response to

The lesson learned from 2024 was that they need to scold even harder and post even more trolley problem memes.
comment in response to

I am, with someone who wants to do so in good faith. That's not you.
comment in response to
post
Wow, Dems should have tried to win and prevent that.
comment in response to
post
I do, and I'll happily discuss them with someone who wants to do so in good faith. As for action being frightening, you're right - that's presumably why you avoid it to scold strangers online instead.
comment in response to

That doesn't follow any sort of logic whatsoever. So if Kamala had won, everyone who withheld their votes would get credit for "voting for" her?
comment in response to
post
I think "yall" should be taken away until they learn to use it more responsibly.
comment in response to

They are welcome to offer me one of those lucrative consultant contracts if they want details, not that they're difficult to figure out.
comment in response to
post
That's not true. Why is a vote withheld automatically considered a vote for Trump instead of a vote for Harris?
comment in response to
post
No one in this thread voted for Trump.
comment in response to

It's always from something that I think is pretty uncontroversial.
comment in response to

Their terrible decision, policies, and candidate. They didn't take any actions to try and earn votes.
comment in response to

Incorrect.
comment in response to

Damn, sounds like Dems should have tried to win and, if you cared about any of this stuff, you should have shown this vigor in pressuring them to win.
comment in response to

I'm not looking down on you. You know who is doing that? Mr. Cuban, and everyone like him.
comment in response to

I agree, and the fact is that you're incorrect. That's why I keep saying it.
