I dunno. I regularly piss and moan about how things are hopeless, but still get up every day to fight it. Acknowledging the impossibility of my wins makes the wins sweeter.

On the off chance you really genuinely reading the subtext, here: my point is that OP is racist — at best, subconsciously. He missed that Black Mirror refers to screens because he thinks black=bad/white=good. This is evidenced by his need to put a white woman on the poster of the “optimistic” show.
