I thought it said Due Princes and wondered if @thechrisbarron.bsky.social came up with it.

They sent the same letter to Hustler.

But this is also less likely to lead to PERFECT moments in a documentary about a guy with a penis for a name.

Hah. Well, I just feel bad because I am known to piss and moan about how totally rigged the system is. But my goal is to get people to work on fixing it while we’re out here kicking the incoming tide. Build the levees, but know you’re building them for your kids and don’t expect to see quick results

I can hold a hose while also yelling over my back that we won’t be able to save everything and it’s someone’s fault.

I dunno. I regularly piss and moan about how things are hopeless, but still get up every day to fight it. Acknowledging the impossibility of my wins makes the wins sweeter. I don’t fight because I have hope. I fight out of a combination of orneriness and hero-complex.

It doesn’t even matter that it is a complete fantasy — there has been no change at all in the freedom white cis het men like us experience — what matters is that dickheads THINK it is true, and are thus willing to tolerate atrocities (or people pro-atrocity) as long as it makes them feel more free.

Wild. My brother, who passed away a few years ago, did the same thing with my razor. Only I didn’t get to hang w/ Macy Gray. He was just a dick. :)

Alright. Troll it is. Bye.

No. Strawman bullshit. If you use AI, you have to adjust for its biased output, or you own the racist implications of what you created.

Amazing how some people make every excuse to ignore racism. Either the OP did it on purpose, or was an idiot who didn’t realize how this comes across and failed to correct for the machine’s bias. You assume they’re an idiot. You might be right. But it’s still shitty.

Exactly.

Yes, I am using OP’s words and the image he curated and chose to infer racism. That is how communication works. Got it in one.
comment in response to post
And blaming it on the AI just means that OP has so much implicit bias that he was too dim to recognize the AI’s implicit biases. Upon reviewing the output, he should have realized what this communicates and retweaked his prompt. But I see no reasons to assume he was an idiot / it was unintentional

On the off chance you really genuinely reading the subtext, here: my point is that OP is racist — at best, subconsciously. He missed that Black Mirror refers to screens because he thinks black=bad/white=good. This is evidenced by his need to put a white woman on the poster of the “optimistic” show.

No. But it’s clear that you’re an obtuse troll.

No. When we saw that the image swapped out a woman of color for a Lilly-white girl, *then* we know what he really meant.

Dude, I’ll die a thousand deaths before I ever seriously give a fuck about what Orrin Hatch would think. He was bad, he’s dead, let that be the end of him. We don’t need to appeal to authorities like that.
comment in response to post
Orrin Hatch would say “anything but the black woman.”

Ken, the red shirt ensign dies so that the crew understands the dangers posed. That will never happen to this administration or their counsel, because they know the courts pose no danger to them.
