Jamie here - music and chart obsessed bridging the gap between past & present in music. UF alum, love the Gators, traveling and known to be a pretty decent cook. Probably enjoying a glass of wine with my headphones on.

Yes - that was a true "power of Madonna" moment with it doing so well although I think most people tend to forget about how successful that song was. I don't think she ever included it on any compilations either, did she?

Open Your Heart was the next one so I am glad she did not call them, ha ha but agree, she should have called them for WTG. 😂😂😂 I am sure she was like, "this can be low budget bc I am super busy" - I mean, we really did not get a video for Causing A Commotion other than the live performance.

Woo hoo - I imagine this one will be in a lot of Top 5. This was actually No. 1 when I did the "Top 100 Madonna Songs of All Time" bc I do think it is her best song from an objective view.

OMG, she made all the cassettes around her in the same tray smell like it. 😂😂😂

This is the moment I became a hardcore M fan. I can still smell that patchouli and frankincense cassette. 😂😂😂

Me too! I always thought it was so much better than the actual video.

I remember the Make My Video contest MTV held for this and I was so impressed by the winners. Their video was SO good.

Yes! When my ex dumped me, I listened to this a lot. 😂😂
HeartBreakCity is also another really great breakup song on the album.

My favorite verse:
"I could get caught up in bitterness
But I'm not dwelling on this crazy mess
I found freedom in the ugly truth
I deserve the best and it's not you..."

I love the Rebel Heart album - was her best since Confessions IMO. So many great songs. This became my break-up anthem. 😂😎🎵

YES!! Same here - my older sister introduced me to music at a very young age and I have been forever grateful for that. I remember my sister buying this album & mom not being thrilled with the cover. 😂😎🎵

Yes! They make a big to-do about it at the beginning of every album cycle. I actually experienced this new album launch real-time. They made interesting visuals for it. They call themselves "The Clergy" when addressing fans. I like the formality of what they do. 😂😎

I will have to check this out - I love new takes on popular songs.
So, I am listening to the new Ghost album which came out on Friday and it reminds me of the 80s glam/hair metal days.

I was kind of scared of Ghost but then Mary On A Cross was a crossover hit from TikTok and I was OBSESSED with that song. So, I started paying attention to their releases now. They have a great cover (and video) of Genesis' "Jesus He Knows Me." also liked 2024's "The Future Is A Foreign Land."

I saw a headline recently about them on X - they were potentially scoring a Top 10 hit in the UK. I just read about them - their look reminds me of Ghost.

Oooh - that might be a good one. He also did one with the 2 brothers from Stone Temple Pilots. I like his diversity.
