A few angles this could be: - Trump knows that Pete is in the Epstein files and is getting out in front of it - Vivek's people are putting him up to this to drum up support in the governor race (although anyone supporting this would have voted for him anyway)

Yeah, I've seen some FCC fans advocating for him to get the Frankie Amaya treatment when he comes back, and I just don't see it. Given the impending next move, he's not screwing the team over for this year. He was always great with the fans here and never badmouthed the city. Best of luck, Lucho.

I’ve seen a lot of voices I respect try to blame the ATC personnel issues for the crash, and that seems completely off-base given that we can hear audio of them doing their jobs as expected, and continuing to do them after witnessing a worst case scenario to keep other air traffic safe.
