The U.S. federal government employs ~2.2M+ people, so there’s probably a few places you could cut back. But:
- “government inefficiency” is just as likely to be caused by UNDERstaffing as too much bloat
- ~70% of USG employees are in 4 departments: DoD, VA, DHS, DOJ soooo good luck

If you have a million dollars, getting another 2 million will still meaningfully change your life.
If you have a billion dollars, getting another 2 billion will not. And I think this explains modern right wing politics, a bunch of rich people who can no longer use more money, but aren’t satisfied.
