You want to escape reality or something like that; cool, that’s completely fine. A lot of us can’t afford to do that at all.

I find it super privileged for someone to worry a lot about a character from a show, movie, etc being included in merch.
A lot of us are more worried about our basic human needs and rights; we cannot afford to worry about complete nothing burgers.

They deserve to be called out, even by their own peers.

I hate it when some people act all holier than thou all because their favorite person happens to be a decent human being and implying that other people are not decent all because their favorite person was exposed as a terrible person.
