I find this phenomenon fascinating. It's almost certainly a myriad of factors but instinctively I feel it is less to do with culture or circumstance of age and more to do with the way music reacts with our brain whilst it is still developing.

The abundance of Klarna is the sign of an ill society, but honestly I think a bigger problem is how normalised ordering food to your home has become. It's absurdly expensive, often doesn't travel well and people are being convinced it's normal to do it 3/4/5 times a week. Cook!
