This is important for a lot of people to know. Although I am a big proponent of Buddhist teachings, we have to keep in mind that traditional cultures sometimes get in the way of the true meanings behind said teachings. How can you be on the path of enlightenment and still espouse hate?

I would argue that not even white men were at large happy.
Mental health care was non-existent, self medicating (drinking/drugs) was the norm, & abuse, both physical & and emotional, was encouraged & perpetuated generationally. Trauma from war & burnout were ignored. Suicide was/is rampant.
