@maddow.msnbc.com the telecommunications act of 1996, on top of removing media ownership regulations, made a “fairness” rule that whatever price one political party paid for an ad needed to be the same for the other party. This isn’t just Rs propagandizing, it blocks Dems from having a voice!!!

It also sets a price for air time!!! If a political party buys an ad th network has to match that price fo the other party. This was another part of The telecommunications act of 1996 <— repeal that and we can regain our media
