Don't you EVER accuse me of "dealing with" or "choosing" my abuser. I reject him with every depressed/anxious/existential/panicked fiber of my being. He is the opposite of me in every trait of character and he will suffer in hell forever.

Most people hate him but SOME OF THEM didn't vote because the DNC are fucking idiots who ran a woman (women cannot become president even when the opposition can't read and rapes people)

Like THAT'S WHAT THE GOOGLE IS FOR. That's what search engines already do! The only reason people won't click random result links for themselves is because Google enshittified itself to prop up shit you don't need as top results a lot of the time.

All discussion of abortion would be banned online, on any website that can be accessed by a Texas IP. Ditto for most LGBT content, pro-Palestine content, etc. Platforms attempting to evade liability would over-enforce. Smaller platforms would not be able to survive.

... massively limit person to person communication and content.
End result: Meta/Google get MORE POWERFUL with LESS INCENTIVE to moderate.
Every small competitor is massively limited or gone.
I think that would suck.
@opinionhaver.bsky.social may have a different opinion.

So, the practical results: a marginally higher legal bill for big companies, but at rounding error levels, and likely LESS INCENTIVE to moderate to avoid actual knowledge.
But, the BIG loss is for smaller entities, who will now either shut down, be easily pushed around by legal threats, or...

again just to be fair I am on the side of "there is an extremely narrow set of tasks these tools are actually useful for" but normies are now straight up using it like google
