Kingda Ka was difficult and costly to maintain due to its hydraulic launch. If they try to replace it with standard coaster LSMs, it wont have the same punch that Ka gave. What they COULD do is use a modified magnetic launch system that the Navy used for their new aircraft carriers.

I was thinking about that extreme spinner that is rumored to go replace Kingda Ka at Great Adventure. I think a shuttle coaster, no matter how awesome it may seem is a bad choice for the park right after opening Flash. Low capacity at a flagship park after sunsetting two coasters is a mistake.
