I hear you. The only grifty type I am is promoting my blog but other than that I'm pretty vulnerable and share information. I get the ick on there myself sometimes. Lot of inauthenticity

and Chair Wiklund will not be giving it a hearing at all. The wording of the Strib article is confusing. it says the bill is scheduled for a first reading on Monday. This just means the bill is being introduced on Monday, not that it's getting a hearing.

A past trusted colleague of mine, emailed the co-authors of the bill and the health and human services committee. Senator Alice Mann's office responded, "I have passed it along to Sen. Mann. To be clear, this incredibly harmful bill is NOT being heard in Health and Human Services on Monday,

as they hear that nearly 50% of SAMHSA staff have been cut, that staff at the Veterans Crisis Line has been cut, that the House committee needs to cut $880 billion and the GAO states that it will have to come through cuts to Medicaid, that it’s unknown what will happen to 988 staffing, and more."

People living with mental illnesses, and the laws that impact them, should be treated with dignity, respect, and empathy. The bill’s description does not recognize the actual fear and anxiety that people living with mental illnesses and their families are experiencing right now

This is ridiculous and terrifying. Please call our senators and tell them as licensed professionals we do not accept this. You cannot use mental illness as a cover to bow down to administration.

Who introduced and sponsoring the bill? Eric Lucero (R)*, Steve Drazkowski (R), Justin Eichorn (R), Glenn Gruenhagen (R), Nathan Wesenberg (R). You can find the introduced bill here: www.revisor.mn.gov/bills/bill.p...

Symptoms may include Trump-induced general hysteria, which produces an inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and signs of psychic pathology in President Donald J. Trump's behavior.
