Actor, director, teacher. Not always in that order. Not famous, but open to it. Mets fan since…let’s just say a long time ago.

Gold

I needed this today

Oddly, none of my SAG Award picks were correct, but I nailed a slew of Oscars. I voted for Anora, Mikey Madison and Adrien Brody…so I’m out of step with my union, but IN step with the Academy (not a member). Not sure what that means…

Adrien Brody is the right choice. I will hope the best for Mikey Madison, but if Demi Moore repeats her SAG win, that is certainly, absolutely fine.

Ouch

Again, wrong headline here: "BASEBALL COMMISSIONER MANFRED CONSIDERS REINSTATING ALLEGED CHILD RAPIST" www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/...

Ermine, capable cute carnivores A snow slinky

Listening to my favorite New Order album as I drive. One of my favorite albums of this century. Is this a usual choice as a favorite New Order album? Don’t really know. Just asking.

From Newark’s Mayor…

England gets it

And The Band Played On...RIP to all...and thanks...

Trump hanging his supporters in DC out to dry in favor of an exclusive inauguration where only his inner circle and top donors can attend is the perfect metaphor for this administration and today’s GOP.

I think the trash bag is unhappy with me…

I lived in L.A. for 12 years. I never fell in love with the city itself, but I fell in love there. I got married, bought my first house, then lost it to an earthquake, there. I also lost an unborn child there. It’s still in me. It hurts, deeply, to see it be destroyed. I don’t really have the words.

You work for years. You wonder if you’ll ever break through. You get a gig in a few national commercials. You get to the field of the Notre Dame/Penn State semi final. You get introduced to the world as “the Capital One guy”. At least, at 6’5”, you still powered over everyone, Jeremy. Congrats.

This is a portrait of my sister’s cat, Pug, who died this week at the age of 17. I never liked his name, so I started calling him Reginald, or Sir Reginald. I accidentally called him that in front of her and she asked why. I said he told me. She smiled and said “that makes sense.” Godspeed, Pug.

A very Merry Happy Everything to Everybody!!!
