What you could do, is take a backup of your files and reinstall the operating system. I find that helps with things slowing down when my normal commands don't work

I'm similar but later on it's lifespan. Black ops 2, Halo 4, and Skyrim. By the gods I put so many hours into Skyrim. Do my chores, eat dinner, homework, then fall asleep some time during the night while collecting materials or building my homestead.

Yeah I've slowly been replacing my PC's drives with SSDs. I still have 9tb (2 HDD drive pool) left.
Been testing any I pull and have been placing them in my media server.
