😂 absolutely. I won't be fooled by those rocks. Even if 6inchs snow would certainly help some.

Yeah, I go thru about 5 dozen a week between the kids and I. About to buy some chickens and give the kids a new chore to check the coop.

Always high where I live in Alaska. But this is the highest I have seen yet.

Its been a rough week as a civil servant, for anyone in a similar boat. Hang in there, we are all that's left to be a guardrail for humanity. Be kind to your neighbors and coworkers being targeted. Goodluck all.

Bluesky has its own Instagram clone on the way soon called Flashes. I'm just holding out for that. Although I am in the beta for fotoapp.co too.

I wish eggs were $3.99 where I live!

Don't have many relevant photos from that time of my life, but I do have this one I took of a nice couple kids who used to hang out by the fob with @donkoclock.bsky.social

Depending on the platform and your device will change my answer. However I am downloading the photos I want to keep that I dont have stored other places, I do this one at a time by pressing on my phone the three vertical dots and clicking save. Any photo I dont save I delete. By album if I can.

Yep, I spent last weekend pulling most of my photos off of all META platforms, and was never on X. On the 20th the accounts will go dark.

Commercial fishing fleets used them to keep their nets afloat before plastic buoys came about. Most floats found in Alaska or on the west coast of North America came from Japan. They were more common to find long ago. Not many intact wash up these days.

I still game until the early hours, it's just 1-2am instead of 3-5am. Definitely subtitles on and volume much lower though. I also drink a pot of coffee before work.

It's unfortunate we have to deal with all the propaganda these days. I wish I could send you a couple feet of the rain I get here in the Tongass Rainforest.

I feel the same way Kumail. One of the reasons I moved so remote. Much more insulated from the news here.

Not a pilot by trade, just fly in small planes a lot, because I can. I work for the federal gov. in facilities maintenance. So I spend most of my days traveling to different buildings, fixing stuff, anything from changing locks to rewiring an industrial boiler. Most of my photos are views from work.

They would aim to treat it as a Territory like Puerto Rico and give them taxation without representation.
