At work, we have rule that code must be understandable at 4 a.m. under stress. The function size is irrelevant as long as it performs its task and is comprehensible under pressure. Also, I found 'Clean Code' condescending and couldn't get past the first chapter.

Shrinking. One of the creators was also the creator of Ted Lasso. You can imagine the vibe.

The most annoying part is when I have a shortcut with 10 steps, and I just want to test the last one. It runs the whole thing from the top every time I make a change and test it. Shortcuts are super useful, but creating them can be a real pain.

You moved from Australian summer to the dark winters of the UK. My first two winters were horrible. I couldn't understand what was happening. I felt depressed all the time. I finally realized it was the weather. Taking vitamin D supplements helped me a lot. I hope you feel better soon!

I chose a career in Tech cuz growing up in a poor country, I had seen first hand how tech can improve lives of so many people in a very short time. I never imagined it becoming a negative force. A few greedy, petty, insecure men stripping away identities of people ๐ก. Makes me regret my decision.

I used GitHub Copilot at work for a month, but it was more of a nuisance than an assistant. It constantly suggested unrelated names, made me rethink my writing, and disrupted my thought process. I don't know about Cursor though.

Everyone has different ways of managing their time and mental health. Some find that stepping away from social media helps them focus better or reduce stress. Different people, different way of dealing with things.

Also, ability to block posts from keywords inside ALT Texts. The use case is that I don't like political posts. I have curated a list of words that I block, but I still see posts with just political pictures.

I am not sure if it's possible or not, but it would be nice if I can enable notifications when someone I follow posts something. Bonus if there is an option to enable post notifications for specific followers.

English is not my first language, which might be the case with a lot of people. I use AI to proofread and make a few changes before sending a reply or post to make it more understandable/readable. What I am trying to say is that using AI should be fine, but not to spam and write unrelated nonsense.
