Same. Mom used to call me her little day-dreamer. Formal education must be tiring for Serafina. Her creativity is constantly exploding in an environment that demands she be focused and limited. The long game looks good though. One day, she’ll be out of that box and building her own worlds.

Ug. We had Jackson tested when he was 12. 3 hours with a psychologist in Waimea and a full day of testing on Oahu. The ADD Gifted diagnosis did little for us as HPA had no accommodations. Half of his teachers saw him as brilliant and the other half as lazy and difficult. A big reason we moved to NZ.
