Sorry to hear this! I hope you find a way again. It sounds like the spirit is still there. Is working with a tripod and remote not possible?

It is such a beautiful plant

Makes sense! I am nearly 100% certain it is an eastern redbud.

I agree! I know that I would sometimes intentionally compose a shot off-centered before I knew it was a concept with a name. There are times when it just works!

Nice rule of thirds being employed here

That looks intense and fun!

Nice greenery in this

The cracking pattern of this type of landscape is always fascinating. Nice capture!

I think so, too! They are one of the main themes of my gallery. They add such character to a photo.

Looks like a redbud. Where was this taken?

Nice gradient in this one!

Makes sense! Getting away for some private time. But if you find them later, they will just be happy that someone caught their memorable moment. I am also going to be attempting to find a couple whose wedding procession I captured in New Orleans on 5/30/2015. Their 10 year anniversary is in a month

Awesome capture of the moment! They probably didn't even notice you.

Yeah, it could go either way: Thanks for capturing us! Stop creeping on us! But you can always try to find them on social media later.

It looks like it is falling out of the sky

That is definitely convenient.

Awesome to see! I am currently in zone 4, so just getting into Daffodils right now, but in a few weeks these will arrive here too.
comment in response to post
Because they kinda just did, right? Haha

That is awesome to hear! I try to make my photos evoke feelings from all the different senses.

It is fun trying to match the theme each week. All you have to do is add the two hashtags with whatever other ones to your post on Saturday. Since so many people join in and follow the feed, the tags go viral every week.

Always a good problem to have!

Thanks so much, Eric! I was photographing the pelicans in light on the other side, but I made my way around to follow a blue heron in the reeds and found myself looking at this scene. Glad I did that!

And keeping an eye on you no doubt! These birds are very protective of their territory

Thank you Olivia! Instead of posting on Earth Day, I went out and captured a series of images. So I am a day late haha. But I had the honor of choosing the BlueSkyArtShow hashtag for this Saturday, and I wanted to give it a good promo.
comment in response to post
You may want to post this as part of the BlueSkyArtShow this Saturday. It matches the theme well and it should gain more traction and get the attention it deserves. See my latest post for details if you are interested.
