Is this account run by a Brit, by any chance?

Not a fan as such, but I do have their updates to ping in my hockey app, and I may have been more Utah than Pittsburgh when I was at the game the other week.
Utah is my kinda place, and that team flies around. They certainly have my attention

Won't necessarily be the same years you lived if we're already trying to change stuff. Fair point though

I was thinking more 1995 if I'm honest

Also, people weren't as soft, and they weren't in positions to peddle complete bollocks. There was no anonymity, there was just consequences. Let's go back to that

I haven't touched that since Theme Park Inc. way back in the day. I now know what I'm doing after work tomorrow

You're basically saying you champion mediocrity cos it's a brand you like and not something else...

Yes, just my interests...
Not the 75% of paying punters that don't go to TV anymore. Just me...
I'm allowed to know what I liked about AEW, and what I want from it. If I think it's shit, I'm going to say it's shit. If you're too soft to see that, I don't know what to tell you
Let us vibe...

Were you Theme Park World over Rollercoaster Tycoon, or did you dabble in both?
Consider my attention grabbed

Perfection/imperfection and different are two wildly different things.
We don't care if it's perfect is a wild statement
comment in response to

I don't know about you, but I've never looked at a bag of shit and thought "perfect".
I just want it to be entertaining and gripping, like AEW used to be.
I want it to make sense, and book long term l rather than week to week.
The nightmare collective era was better than this one, that says alot

It's hard enough to feature talent as it is, then you have ROH migrating to AEW TV, and the waters just got too muddied.
Then you run markets into the ground with 25% full buildings, no wonder it's hard to get over and stay over

Cut the roster down, focus the product and the business will develop. I appreciate how great it was, it's only been good for me for a while now. It's not felt like AEW since Cody left, it lost its charm

I want them to succeed so badly, I want to enjoy watching again. I used to watch religiously, now I'll watch dynamite on a Sunday or Monday, if I can be arsed. Collision isn't in the game anymore.
I've wanted hot crowds in small buildings for years now. Check the ego, book to fill.

I think some people don't want to communicate. They want to live in their bubble and won't tolerate any reality that may pop it.
In my experience, holding something so dearly makes you miserable (football/wrestling), if you let it go and don't take it all that seriously, your life improves greatly

It definitely fell off after the pandemic, once they started signing mas. Did they peak too early? Maybe. What I'd give for those years to come back.
My issue is they broke most of, if not all of the promises they made at launch, so it is harder to trust their process and invest. Back to basics ๐ค๐ผ

The discussion didn't seem to be an option with those people, they were too stubborn to acknowledge it could improve. I can only imagine that to be a miserable life.
I will say the conversation does seem to be better after Wednesday's show
comment in response to

I want it to be perfect, I wish it was. I wish every Dynamite was like Wednesday's, 75% fantastic (if not more) rather than the 25% I've grown accustomed too.
There's a reason I repeatedly watch the first 2 years of AEW.
I don't know why, and I don't want to know. It's just sad

Absolutely have to disagree. The aew fans here are so high and mighty about the thing they like that if you don't think it's perfect like they do, you're a troll. They can't handle criticism.

To an extent. You absolutely cannot critique AEW on here though, it's either perfect, or you're a hater. Found that out the hard way.
It can be better, it needs to be better consistently, but if you hold it to a higher standard than some on here you get mass blocked ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
