This mission was made for the 2021 Summer Speedbuilding Jam, with Vegetables building it in two weeks! You can download Lone Rock Outpost (and the rest of the entries to the jam) at the link below: www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/...

Due to his work on fan missions in the early 2000s, Sledge did go on to work in the games industry, with design credits in the Mafia series, Deus Ex: Invisible War, and Thief: Deadly Shadows. You can hear his interview with our friends on Inside At Last here: open.spotify.com/episode/1nOg...

If you are already familiar with fan missions, you will recognize Sledge as working on two other classics: The Inverted Manse and the fan campaign T2X: Shadows of the Metal Age. However, you can grab his first mission here: www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/... (Screenshot by @morente.bsky.social)

RippedPhreak puts an insane amount of detail into his missions, crafting a large and open space that's beautiful to look at and a joy to explore. Get Cardinals' Sins here: www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/...

This mission would be your re-introduction into the world of Thief, 25 years ago today. It's insane to think that it's influence is still felt in stealth games today. Happy birthday, Thief II: The Metal Age!

I honestly struggle to find good things to say about the game itself. I remember it as a messy over-complex "bigger is better" follow up that had a weird tone and a bad story. But it impacted my life in more ways than I can explain and probably many that I don't realize. So for that, I love it.
