i hear you. I guess I've resigned to the idea that, whatever 'it' is, performance people will hop on... annoying, yeah. good for amplification or counterproductive? i guess it can go either way.

i don't disagree, but it's not like this out of irrational fear as much as it is a natural reaction to companies unnecessarily inserting "AI" into every corner of our lives, like a haunting (or a bogeyman)

*working, at least, to some degree. it may be that some of this generation of women will need to learn the risk of depending on someone else's income, and do it in a world with fewer social safety nets than exist now.
