That’s about all abusive people have. Their power is in making us feel like the crazy ones. Slow the tape. One moment at a time. It will not always be like this.

I believe you. It’s not right, and it’s not in the best interest of your children.
Here’s a small bit of cathartic encouragement that has kept me afloat for a long time: youtu.be/4VxY0ZoR6SI?...

When we know better, we tend to do better; expect better; choose better.
@daviddark.bsky.social reminds me that to love a person is to love a process (and sometimes the person is us).

That whole Little Creatures album is perfect, and the Howard Finster cover art is a treat. “Walk it Down” might be my favorite Talking Heads song.

You deserve laughter. I’m happy I could assist. Happy birthday, my friend.

I get the impulse to throw whatever they can at Trump, but this one isn’t it. It’s weird.

Often times laughter is the slack in the line that keeps it from breaking. Please don't stop joking. Anyone who follows you or observes your content knows that you are not making light of difficult things but just trying to get through them and help us do the same.

Ha! He turned me on to this record too. There’s a CBD reference in that song that gets me every time.

He’s my favorite Christian grifter for a reason. His presence on BlueSky is a welcome relief — @thomaskinkade.bsky.social.

I’m not thankful for mayonnaise. Never have been. Never will be.

Two things.
I wish this story were literally true because it makes me laugh.
And I wish (or at least I think I wish) to be more serious more often. These are heavy times. I’m worried about our world. I don’t want to detract from our real problems with jokes.
It’s complicated.
