I hit a milestone #gamedev regarding my next game, and just before Christmas too. So... I have to try and do this thing called "relax" which I'm not really sure how to do or what it is. Is it like, an API?.. a toolset?.. a typed dialect of Lua? Life is weird. #indiedev #indiegame

Thanks to #indiedev, I am divided between #godot, #gamemaker, and #unity for what to use on shorter-form and free #gamedev ideas. At this point, any will satisfy my requirements, but leaning towards Unity (because of the web app). Things will be 2D, but spoofing 2D in 3D is a better. Thoughts?

Any other #gamedev folks that work in #C++ sometimes feel like their code is secretly doing something horribly wrong, despite the fact it works perfectly with no memory leaks? I am just waiting to get a few more years into the game only to have my computer suddenly explode. #indiedev #indiegame
