I took a walk on the greenbelt. I have to say, overall it was good. But there is a large group of people who do not have proper Boise Greenbelt etiquette. Numerous fast bikes speeding by with no pre-warning of their approach (on your left, etc.). Nicest people were the mothers of small children.

My maternal grandparents were both Marines. (So was my dad and two of my uncles). Grandma taught me how to type. Under the threats of a thump to my head, while she smoked her cigarettes and had a glass of scotch. Now I type like a pro! Have a good Memorial day. They'd want us to BBQ and enjoy it.

Saw a momma duck near the sidewalk. As I approached it waddled towards a drainage grate. I figured something was up. So I looked in. Sure enough about 8 little babies were stuck in there. Had to call out for help because I was on the wrong side of the fence. But we got them out. Thanks to strangers
