I spoke about the Missouri GOP overturning our will on abortion and earned sick time and a higher minimum wage and when I tell you the rage that seethed in that room at the mention of those things…it was palpable. open.substack.com/pub/jesspipe...

Remember how Trump accused Biden of abandoning North Carolina's Republican communities after Hurricane Helene? Well their governor was just denied additional FEMA aid by Trump today. Josh Hawley is publicly begging for FEMA aid for Missouri. So is Sarah Huckabee Sanders in Arkansas.

Crockett: That’s why they hired everybody from Fox because all they’re trying to do is put on a show.. I want us to refocus our attention on the American people and stop demonizing every person that ends up in ICE custody… *Applause* Van Drew: *bangs gavel*

This is insane. Republicans have inserted language into the budget reconciliation bill that would ban states from regulating AI in any capacity for 10 years. from @404media.co www.404media.co/republicans-...

This guy is definitely growing on me. Love what he has to say in this speech from New Hampshire. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Fuck Ken Martin and the DNC. They are so dramatically out of touch. My advice to David Hogg, go for it. Let me know where I can contribute. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

WATCH — @carolecadwalla.bsky.social : “The Russian and American presidents are now speaking the same words. Telling the same lies. We are watching the collapse of the international world order in real time… it is already later than we think.”

Odd, how the United States doesn't have enough money to give sick veterans healthcare, impoverished seniors Social Security, or hungry schoolkids lunches, but it does have enough money to pay a Central American dictator millions to torture American residents in his brutal concentration camp.

And so here we are. An excellent analysis of the past and present United States. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Ayn Randy’s “Objectivism” on full display. Empathy and altruism are out of fashion on the “Christian” Right. Now the even have a champion in Elon. WTF? www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-i...

Two of Trump’s major backers don’t like that he’s costing them money. The irony here is delicious, and the message is “Don’t fuck with my money Donald.” www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.

This young woman is on to something. It’s time to do things very differently. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Hey dickwad, he’s your “boy.” You wanted him, now deal with it and stop whining. www.bbc.com/news/article...

The weasels are beginning to back away from Trump. Cruz is one of the bottom-feeding scum having second thoughts. Hedging his bets do he can say, “I never really supported these policies.” Right. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Yeah, or you could get your ignorant ass burned. Just sayin’. www.bbc.com/news/article...

RAND PAUL: “.. When McKinley most famously put tariffs on in 1890, [the GOP] lost 50 percent of their seats in the next election. When [Smoot and Hawley] put on their tariff in the early 1930s, we lost the House and the Senate for 60 years.” @washingtonpost.com t.co/ONtPfv9On2

Get ready to watch Schumer and others do what they do best, capitulate on the next Continuing Resolution bill rather than fight. They are essentially useless. We desperately need a third progressive party. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

What are the odds that Trump will declare marshal law on or before April 5, or just after, the day that nation-wide protests are planned? At this point, I wouldn't put anything past him.

So we could lose $200B in tourism, $100B in immigrants paying taxes, $100B in weapons manufacturing, $500B in lost tax revenue from firing IRS employees… is it sinking in yet?

Bernie laying it all out before Congress in typical Bernie style, calling out the billionaires, corporations, Reps and Dems. The man is a LION...a populist hero who would have been president if the DNC hadn't intentionally tanked him twice. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Eir...

Again, this petty, vindictive, sociopath targeting those that disagree with them. Every day he proves what a low narcissistic piece of shit he is. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Once again, it’s Bernie leading the fight. How different life would be today if the DNC hadn’t worked to undermine his candidacy see in 2016 and 2020. The consultants “knew better.“ He was “too radical.“ www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Interesting take on how our culture devalues beauty in favor of banal growth and sprawl. An anthropomorphic view of an aesthetically bankrupt civilization. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

This is a level of petty vindictiveness that it is difficult to imagine that anyone would ever stoop this slow. But then again, Trump never fails to surprise us. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Rick Wilson nails it here:

I hope that someday soon we can find a way to assist people in their end of life decisions. It’s the humane, compassionate thing to do. This is a great piece worth reading. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Trump walks to Marine One to head to Mar-a-Lago to play golf on the taxpayers dime. This trip will cost us $3.1 million, which could be used by USAID to feed 710 starving children for a full year.

Time to primary all the “turn coat” democrats. Where can I send a check?

In a new era where Trump and his allies control all three branches of government and tech companies bend to their will, the technology you choose to use may be your last line of defense against digital surveillance.
