Guess who holds the cards on this one? I guess someone in the White House figured out America kinda needs those crucial seven rare earth elements that China imposed export restrictions on. It dominates the global supply chain, controlling about 70% of rare earth mining and 90% of processing.

And positioned Peter Thiel via Palantir to compile a dossier on every American. I find Kara Swisher is most often correct in her stated analyses and opinions.

I see your concern, but at the same time the points made in Ann Telnaes' post are correct in my estimation.

Is it too much to ask that the GOP and it's money machine take the year off?

Canada has agreed to purchase the Jindalee Operational Radar Network (JORN), an Australian-made over-the-horizon radar system in a 6.6 billion dollar deal. Interesting timing on this deal.

The Golden Dome is a golden gift to Palmer Lucky, Peter Thiel and Elon Musk. And what is it with Trump's bizarre fetish with everything golden?

If America doesn't reform it's campaign finance laws, including ending Citizens United, there is little hope of avoiding a complete and total annihilation of democracy and the promise of a fair and just system of government with little hope of resurrecting it within many generations.

To the MAGA leadership, poor people are expendable cheap labor and nothing more. 60% of American households currently cannot afford basic needs.

Along with the stock market, his tariff threats also manipulate foreign markets, gold, bond markets, and crypto. There's plenty ways for this crime family and their associates to take money. He's certainly doing his best to get richer while he burns it all down and ordinary people suffer for it.

Project 2025 suggests reinstating restrictions on mifepristone including requiring in-person dispensing and limiting who can prescribe it. It also proposes revoking the drug's FDA approval, which could remove it from the market entirely. We tried to warn them.

It would take years and tens of millions of dollars to retrofit the Qatar jet while putting the two that Boeing is currently building on hold while this bullshit is being done. This won't happen. The grift gift won't be the new Airforce One, but it WILL be the Trump crime family's private jet.

The Trump Regime is fighting against American values and laws that instill them as it fawns over authoritarians like Mohammed bin Salman. In fact, Trump himself has stated he wants America to be more like Saudi Arabia.

If modern "kings" had to lead troops into actual battle as they did in the days of old, there would be no more war with the cowardly authoritarians of today, such as Putin and Trump. Instead they're happy to sacrifice their "subjects" while they project themselves as strong men.

Abolish private prisons. America keeps terrible company. These numbers don't include those people in American immigration detention centers.
