You're about to hear a LOT abt the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. You'll hear it was the basis for the WWII internment of Japanese Americans. Correct, but misleading. The legal authority for the roundup & imprisonment of 120K people of Japanese ancestry was an executive order, not the 1798 law.
