I don't think you've been paying attention to Trump. But, better we should be prepared than not.
Semper paratus!

Yes indeed! It will continue to work until his back is up against the wall. As I said. So watch out for more extreme reactions should the Dems sweep the midterms. But until then, he'll just test the waters, and overreacting now will be counterproductive.

Trump: "When you're a star they let you do it."
He's a bully and a coward. Always has been. Always will be. He'll bluster and threaten and push. Right up until he feels his own neck on the chopping block, and then he'll squeal and cry and back right off and say it's "not fair".

He's never taken a risk in his life. He's a bully and a coward. He will always bluster about the big swing and then nibble around the edges. Just like on Jan. 6th.
Why risk his head when he doesn't have to (yet)? Just watch.
That doesn't mean he shouldn't be opposed, of course!

Because it's a massive risk for him. History shows that when a leader tries to subjugate a people who are used to freedom they tend to lose their head. He has no reason to take that risk now. But if the GOP loses all of congress, which could lead to his impeachment. That might be worth the risk.

There's no reason for him to try to provoke a civil war NOW. He'd be risking his own skin for no reason.
Now, if they Dems pull off massive wins in the midterms and take back both chambers of congress, the time between the election and the new term may be very dangerous.

What happened to Posse Comitatus?
Apparently Trump is literally trying to start a civil war.

His approval ratings are WAY down, even amongst Republicans.

He really is sick.

An ever shrinking minority. If you look at the polls, half the people who voted for him already regret it. And they were a minority to begin with. And even the ones who want violence suddenly don't want it when it happens to THEM!

And you think that will fly?! The image of peaceful protestors stopping tanks and then being dragged off in handcuffs?
That seems like the worst imagery for him possible. I mean, other than them being taken away on stretchers or body bags.

How do you figure? What can he do with peaceful protesters blocking his obscene parade? Either he overreacts with violence, which will lead to his end, or his parade is interrupted. How can he make either look good for him?

This is clearly what's happening. But the response should not be to sit back, be quiet, and let them continue to erode the constitution. The response should be to show up in such overwhelming numbers that they are forced to back down. After all, Trump Always Chickens Out.

What's with evil tech companies getting their names from Lord Of The Rings. Palantir... Anduril...
Why don't they just get honest and call themselves Sauron or Barad Dur?

Haven't there been several definitive Jaws documentaries already? "The Shark Is Still Working" comes to mind.

The unproduced ones:

Well, it's also Fox "News" providing alternate "facts" to half the country.
Ya know the company that had to admit in court that they provide entertainment, not news...

I have snorkled with leopard sharks. They were indeed rather friendly.
But they didn't look anything like that!

I think this needs to be "Favorite non-John Williams Soundtrack" or else he holds all top ten!
So 1 most people won't know:
"Wind" by Basil Poledouris, a sailing movie with beautiful cinematography & a soaring score.
Chris Ridenhour's music for my film "American Warships" is pretty special too!!!

By the way, calling her "ICE Barbie" or "MAGA Barbie" is an insult to Barbie.

I have no problem with this idiot not knowing what Habeas Corpus is.
I DO have a problem with an idiot being in the Cabinet though. If a Dem had done that the GOP would have called for immediate removal.
BTW, it literally means "Show The Body".

They're not "ethical and conflict of interest concerns". It's literally unconstitutional without congressional approval! It's an actually CRIME and they just put out a press release about it!
This administration is corrupt and must be removed!

How can they accept the gift without congressional approval. It's literally unconstitutional. It says so right there in the constitution!
