Road, the Dragon Ball revival era has been a fun ride for me, and I think it's always possible to tell good new stories with this franchise.
Just don't animate the Granolah arc though, that's gonna cause SO MANY ARGUMENTS on social media I don't want to have to sift through.

I'm definitely going to miss having weekly Dragon Ball stuff to look forward to again though. It's gonna be a rough wait for an announcement of whatever comes next, especially knowing Toriyama's not going to be shepherding the franchise anymore, but I have hope. Because for all the bumps in the-

Best modern Dragon Ball animations overall, and it's obviously above GT for me even if GT handled the one big thing it took from it better.
Sooo... could have been better, glad it's not worse? Had fun, looking forward to seeing stuff from it followed up in future DB media? Hopefully?

More story somewhere down the line, definitely.
I guess my stance on it at the end of the day? It's good enough, better than Super overall but doesn't really match it's highs or have as much of the stuff I personally wanted out of more Dragon Ball stuff, BoG Broly and Super Hero clear it as the-

Vegeta, Bulma and Piccolo kinda feeling like they mostly didn't need to be there tbh?) Just kept it from feeling like the show is an all time classic DB arc, rather than just a good ride and a great expansion on the lore. I do want to see the demon realm and it's cast come back for at least one-

Fanservice?
I'm not complaining too much in the grand scheme of things, I love super saiyan 4 and the redesign is still cool, but that and a lot of the new characters not really getting as much fleshing out or moments to shine as I would have liked them to and the lack of the supporting cast (And-

Angry about Neva giving it to him exactly, but despite the weirdness of how Old Kai knew growing Goku's tail back would unlock it, GT still handled the lore and the transformation sequence of Super Saiyan 4 a MILLION TIMES BETTER by comparison, so that kinda makes it feel like more of overdone-

Much more I liked there. Even Super Saiyan 4 becoming canon didn't really hype me up anywhere near as much as the debut and later uses of Ultra Instinct, since not only is it just a reused idea we all liked already instead of something new and cool... the way it happens is just weak? Like, I'm not-

Did that I liked in comparison. The stand alone fun episodes, all the character moments with the usual supporting cast, more new characters I really liked, frankly more interesting villains in Goku Black and Zamasu than we got in Daima, Frieza in the Universe Surival arc. Like I dunno, there's so-

While Toei are waiting for Shueisha to actually let them do a proper continuation of Super. But on the whole, for all the glaring problems I have with Super (Characterisation hickups, bad animation early on and occasionally later, questionable plot decisions), there's a LOT more things it added and-

And action.
Buuuut... I'm gonna be honest, I didn't like it as much as Super?
To be fair it's hardly a fair or straightforward comparison between Daima and either GT and Super since it's a one arc and done series that's clearly just here as a fun anniversary celebration and to tide fans over-

Explanation Goku gave near then end of that last episode. Because if it is possible for him to just get to that form naturally without his tail or anything, then that raises so many questions.

The guy literally just makes up his own version of reality with every statement that comes out of his mouth. It'd almost be fascinating how his mind works if he weren't put in a position where he can be one of the greatest threats to humanity at large.
