It seems clear that Apple and Google are afraid of him and his penchant for vindictive punishments. This is not a hill they will die on - they can always change it back later. But they underestimate the damage done by marginal copitulations like this - it eats away at us all.

Iā€™m actually amazed they didnā€™t all just ignore him. That means that they were either threatened or they have preemptively capitulated to avoid some perceived threat. Same on Apple Maps today.

So many reasons to boycott it. Changing the end zone logo from ā€œend racismā€ to ā€œchoose loveā€; blackballing Colin K; Fox using it to promote Trump in an ā€œinterviewā€œ; Musk buying my time with propaganda. To hell with them all.

I unfortunately listened to part of Donald Trumpā€˜s interview by one of the Fox news toadies. Fox is broadcasting the Super Bowl and intends to show four advertisements bought by Elon Musk, at $20 million a minute, and itā€™s one big festival of lies and drivel. Skip it!

And there will be those who mindlessly follow unlawful orders without question. Thereā€™s two of them right there.

Funny, you should ask. Today, I learned that chickens we eat are ready for market within 7 to 8 weeks, whereas chickens that lay eggs are much older, and more susceptible to bird flu. I learned that on NPR, which may not be with us much longer, either.

Worried it wonā€™t be as bad as it should be. Wealthy people buy those tickets and a lot of them love what heā€™s doing.

I expect lots of conspiracy theories , but lots of ignoring the assault on our infrastructure, including the FAA and air traffic controllers also

No idea what Travis Kelce's politics are (likely conservative), but the concept that appeasing a tyrant will somehow lead to a better outcome (for you or your partner) is misguided, and has not been working. It's not a good look. I can't wait to hear the lyrics about this after the breakup..

Havenā€™t heard yet. Oddly, sports talk radio doesnā€™t want to talk about this, so instead they are asking the quarterbacks questions about being handsome.

Good point by you. It would make them feel superior and clever as well

We had a guy working on the house last year. Every fact, I threw at him he described as fake. It was really amazing because no matter how much detail you provide the stock answer is that itā€™s all made up, which is a perfect way to live in a fantasy.

But he looks so reputable in this image.
