Yea, I found your package for this (it's referenced within the code).
I was surprised that the community toolkit didn't include this.
I'm glad to hear that yours will be merged into the community toolkit, when it's migrated I will probably update the Sandbox.

The sound quality of "normal" earphones are better, but not the top priority for runs IMHO. Quality is great for podcasts and good enough for just music.

Using the "right" telemetry is important. Your system is yours for a reason, curating the data it emits about how it's working is your responsibility as an engineer.
Stop leaving this to SREs and Platform Engineers to add generic information later.
Write Telemetry, save money, it's that simple
