Let it be known that today I messaged a bootleg T shirt person on Instagram because a McDonald’s shirt they were selling was using a 90s logo with a 70s design. I’ll probably still buy it. There’s something wrong with me.

I wish I could tell the people in college that mocked me for spending $325 on this that it’s now the 49th most expensive punk record sold on Discogs.

If I’m being honest, I didn’t know Beachhead at all when he was released. That 86 line was super hit or miss for me. But I think he’s a really cool looking figure now. Don’t know a thing about him as a character, but he makes for a good toy.

I finally found a picture of an old Coney Island High flyer that has the listing for the secret Rocket From The Crypt show from 1997. What an incredible night that was.

Movie you’ve watched more than six times using gifs. (“Hard mode” no Star Wars, Star Trek, or LOTR) I always find these things odd as I’ve seen almost every movie I really like way more than six times. But since Andrew used Blues Brothers, I’ll pick this treat.

Mush, Minx & Horsebox

In another instance that’s maybe surprising, I didn’t have a H.I.S.S. tank as a kid. I also didn’t back the Classified H.I.S.S. Tank Haslab, so I had to pick up the driver on eBay. Not nearly as expensive as Wild Bill. Not super exciting, but had to have it to work towards my 82-86 figure goal.

“How nice for you.”

I could not be more excited that this bad boy is finally coming out on vinyl: forgeagainrecords.myshopify.com/products/fig...

I’ve never been able to see Deltron 3030 live, so really stoked to grab tickets to this. It’s been such a long time since I was able to see @delhiero.bsky.social, and I am still hoping for some sort of No Need For Alarm tour someday.

I’m getting major Bluths vibes from the AAA leadership folks.

Food party for tonight was Rutt’s Hutt. Wrestlemania is about to start. While I don’t watch WWE as much as I used to, it is sort of a Super Bowl type thing that I just can’t imagine not watching.

I really dug the snow figures as a kid and Snowjob was the best of the bunch. Classified version comes with a ton of accessories and is a great figure, even though I wish the skis were also white like the original.

Off from work today. I made the lengthy trip to pick up falafel from my favorite place, then it’s back home to watch a dumb amount of pro wrestling. Then more awesome food choices the rest of the weekend.

Swami John Reis - 04/17/25 - Crossroads - Garwood, NJ. As always, a great time filling my ears with the big sound of the Swami.

How did Flop release this song and not become an indescribably gigantic band? youtu.be/jSKuc8kAv34?...

I watched the Other Music documentary from 2019. It’s not just a story about a record store, it’s also a snapshot of time when there were so many bands that I didn’t like putting out so many records that I didn’t like. Still, always a bummer watching somewhere you’ve been a bunch close down.

I, for one, am shocked that the C.L.A.W. is only $55. And it comes with a figure. Wild.

The curse of Target has again caused me to overpay for toys. If only I was smart enough to wait it out or decide I can go without. However, I am not that smart.

Not only did I not have Low-Light as a kid, I literally have no memory of him whatsoever. Part of the ‘86 line he had some sniper stuff going on. Despite the lack of nostalgia, I do like the Classified figure and I think it’s a lot more interesting than the vintage figure.

Also, By All Means Necessary by Boogie Down Productions came out on this date in 1988. What a monster. I had this extended version of My Philosophy on a Yo! MTV Raps compilation CD and probably like it a little more because it’s even longer than the normal version. youtu.be/m9tmqTHaUis?...

There was absolutely nothing of interest to me for Record Store Day today. Instead, I bought an IKEA shelf and a Public Enemy shirt online. So I’ve got that going for me.

I didn’t have Copperhead or his Water Moccasin boat when I was a kid, but I definitely knew someone that did as I remember playing with it. Can’t remember who had it though. I really dig the Classified version, just a perfect update. Though I am surprised they didn’t do a Water Moccasin as well.

Wowee Zowee by Pavement came out 30 years ago today. Please celebrate appropriately. youtu.be/7qsHVvKvr2I?...
