I’m a big RJ fan, and hoped we’d see growth in the Raptors system when they traded for him, but I honestly think his ideal future on the team is as a 6th man role similar to Manu (with Ochai starting), where he can be the initiator off the bench most of the game then finish with the starters.

While the Rockets are doing much better in the standings, I like the Raptors future much more than the Rockets. While they have a lot of good players, they lack a #1 guy and possibly even a #2 guy. They’ll need to trade for a superstar to make it to the next level they could have used Luka.

He’s certainly earned it. The Raptors with 4 rookies who have contributed meaningful minutes this season. And that doesn’t include Chomche, who still has lots of potential to be an NBA player. Great work by the Raptors front office.
