Fantastic video Adam! You’ve answered the question I’ve often wondered whilst out on the fells, never being able to fully appreciate the effort and timescales that have gone into creating the landscape we see today.

It’s interesting that Sky News are reporting this cause as a fact whilst the BBC are quoting the Spanish Prime Minister who says the cause is still being investigated.

Yep. Had a walk up Red Pike. Initially planned to walk along the ridge to Scarth Gap but with the cloud not lifting I turned back.

There certainly is a gulf, however, is it not common knowledge amongst teams coming up just to get through the first season, stay up and build from there?

Structural problem with the league or those individual clubs? It has appeared to me that despite the bleeding obvious to everyone one watching them, their managers steadfast refusal to change playing style, has been the reason they’ve all gone down.

Been different. Wolves have struggled at points and a couple more defeats for Utd and they’d have been bang in trouble, which at one point, was an ever increasing possibility. 2/2
comment in response to post
I was highlighting the improvement in those teams and what they’re achieving based on the expectations put upon them. Not the title in general. Regarding relegation, it was always looking likely that those three teams would struggle but there have been on a couple of occasions that it could’ve 1/2

I want to see pieces on how well Forest, Fulham, etc. have done and alike. Rather than moaning about the league without offering any evidence of such.

It’s the narrative that has been pushed by football journalists for years; nothing else matters bar the title. It appears to many, who’s teams have done well this season, that those who think it has been drab, are the ones who support teams that haven’t done well.
comment in response to post
It is for those teams and their fans! I don’t know who you support if anyone but please don’t be elitist and perhaps, entertain a different point of view from the norm. This elitist point of view is precisely why, the lower leagues struggle to match the draw of the Premier League.
comment in response to post
The stakes on finishing towards the top of table when, those teams don’t or haven’t routinely in the last couple of decades are very much real. Let’s not discredit their achievements this season, which is what happens when the season is labelled as “drab”.
comment in response to post
How are those teams I’ve mentioned challenging the established teams at the top of the table drab?
comment in response to post
What a load of rubbish he’s spouting!
comment in response to post
So you’re basically unless you’re challenging for the title or getting relegated the games don’t matter. I’m not quite sure that Forest, Newcastle, Villa & Fulham fans would quite agree with you.

That’s awful that anyone would even think of saying that. We should never judge others, only offer support, and at the end of the day, each to their own.

Perhaps they could just make their countries better places to live…

Pretty poor article from the BBC. No advice given, nothing to help people stay safe, apps to avoid etc. Perhaps they could provided a simple checklist or links to other websites that provide advice.

Goodness, now there’s a list to wet the appetite!

That’s usually the reason I’m up that way, some wicked hills to get the blood pumping!

Lovely quiet road that Ed.

Have you read Ultra Processed People Eoghan? It’s very eye opening what the food industry gets up to…

Of the many things I’ve seen on the fells was a group of lads on top of Great Gable. Foul wet & windy weather, most in shorts and barely a waterproof between. They then asked if they were on top of Scafell Pike!

Studying the route beforehand is a massive help I find.

Room for improvement I feel. 9am start in Gosforth is too late and the last bus should be in the region of 8pm.

Feel the international break has come at the right time for Liverpool A chance for Slot and the team to focus on different priorities and put this week behind them.
comment in response to post
The performance today was a direct result of the players being shattered from their midweek game. 12 points clear, no need to over react.
comment in response to post
Thought I was the only one who wondered where that time went…
comment in response to post
Think the players were still shattered from midweek. Slot could’ve maybe been a bit braver with his starting selection. On a brighter note, it was good to see Chiesa take his opportunity.

The fell on the right hand side looks suspiciously like Grasmoor although I’m not aware of any stone circles in that area.

Goodness me! Talk about burying your head in the sand! You’d hope that an organisation or charity linked to the climate emergency would help him challenge this ruling.

The mind boggles at the conversations regarding Trump & Vance happening in the shadows of the US.
comment in response to post
Don’t know how Zelenskyy kept his cool in front of the blatant bullying and provocation. Trump & Vance have has exposed themselves badly.
comment in response to post
Not sure how Zelenskyy kept his emotions in check in all honesty. He was the only one who looked like a leader.
