Those Seagulls will have to find a new gig as well. Their celebrity days are over.

the news was a bit more delayed and remote those days. I can barely remember the legacy of the Three Popes in One Year, on these things, From in 1978 when the Pope they chose only reigned 33 days. A thing fiction authors have used for great inspiration and stuff since.

putlers party is not one to attend, Xi must not have got the memo. Even with the danger of russian air defence, it just aint a cool thing to turn up too.

Saw those 'celebrities' yesterday, the two most watched seagulls on the planet, they must be.

true, in PR bible, any publicity is good publicity these days. So as you say maybe less than a week, enough to keep the audience with the 'tense wait' but not too much they get bored. Atm the 24/7 live feed is just a few very watched seagulls and a chimney. Which is 'amusing live' coverage.

yep think in modern times a few days is the most they take. The Vatican and Catholic Church many have different views on for good reasons, but it's ritual and history is fascinating as our first ancient 'mega corporation'. This now is like a time capsule to all that.

yep, that word, or maybe blackmail was going to use, but im just scared of lawyers. Now why they were announced and delayed makes sense. This time until they occur, is when the dirty deals are done. Im guessing the same is going on many places.

A direct answer from that mob is rare. Especially one about putin or russia. Perhaps the mood is changing.

Indian and Pakistan news channel are very numerous and often real dodgy. Huge population with many English speakers and an un regulated news media, makes it a wild west for the truth russia often liked to seed stories in that part of the world and let them spread. That Ammo story could even be one

That man is one of the least talked about but most interesting Presidents. He seemed to have a unique perspective with his life experience. Believe it was Eisenhower who once warned about risks of the military industrial complex ahead. He had seen war as numbers as Generals must, so knew them well.

yea, and Pakistan have long accused India of collaborating with the Kabul mob. These sort of things most us cannot know for sure, so they are theories rather than what happened accusations. But putin loves to start wars. Its the ultimate arson, a long fav of the kremlin.

The news there can be nuts. This conflict seems its being pushed along by some force. Before the Kashmir attack, earlier this years, Pakistan was attacked on the border of Afghanistan. So i wonder if it involves that as well, and all the possibilities there. Moscow and Kabul are rather close now.

Maybe they can convince Iran to give up its nuclear program for 'security guarantees', Like Ukraine was stitched up with in 94. But this time maybe a constructive stich up. We have some bad baggage from last century still. Putin, Kim and the radical Mullahs lot in Tehran. to name just a few.

Pure vandalism. trump reminds me at times of the tale of Samson bringing done the temple. But the man i think is just a puppet to the fanatics around him. Atm im reading how Thailand are debating to make Casino legal, so they dont get tariffed. Pure Murdock driven blackmail. Grim as well.

the only knee jerk was yours to my post. Its about Stalin's myth and how others have and misuse it Some like the kremlin would like to make Stalin another T shirt Che. He is not. The idealistic 'Young Stalin' is dangerously in that territory for some. he was always thug and a killer

Seems the kremlin targets national who still vote but live abroad, often. Its's always easier warp reality for those about a thing, who are not actually there.

Remember reading In Roman times folks needed a thing called Dignitas to be listened to and get places. Usually acquired back then by knocking some neighbouring tribe on the head, like Caesar did. Political Capital we may call it today. Whatever u name it, I think Tony is running low on that stuff.

a few months ago russia blew two of them up prematurely in botched attack in Ukraine. One lived, one did not. Cant remember their ages but it was terribly young. The SBU reported that incident and others similar.

the dark no un expected Irony, is hear from the Ukraine Centre for Fighting Disinformation. Russia is atm pushing as one of its propaganda talking points, all thier journalist lost in the war. Pretty typical and low of them with this news now current. Two totally different things they want to blur.

So that is why reportage of the historical inspiration of Andor needs to careful. "A young man from nowhere with a revolutionary ideology, and a fight against a huge empire." Sounds like the description of a hero not Stalin. He was no mere bank robber, a terrorist we would call his carnage then.
comment in response to post
Never said it was and dont think it is. History is a great source of inspiration for writers. And using it is not endorsing it. Stalin is not only a historical monster or whatever u wish to call him, he is also a mythic figure part of Putins power base. The great mythmaker of our age.

im talking about the reporting of the Director inspiration. Being taken the wrong way. Not blaming Andor or tis maker. "A young man from nowhere with a revolutionary ideology, and a fight against a huge empire." could be for some taken the wrong way.

"A young man from nowhere with a revolutionary ideology, and a fight against a huge empire. I did think there was something interesting about the secret life of someone in that situation" – Simon Sebag Montefiore that description of Stalin as a plot inspiration could however by some be taken wrong.
