How can I learn more? I've been mulling over something like this after this past winter where I used Gemini in Ai studio to basics run a well known DND starter campaign with my kiddos a few months ago

I see what you are saying now. Yeah, my experience, which I admit is a small sample but quite diverse, is most will already know American slang and idioms and rarely know British or Aussie or Canadian. Same for word spelling, they will use the American spelling. But you raise excellent points. 👏

....and the most popular spoken form of that taught language is ..drum roll...American 😎🚀

My main gripe is that it is solely tied to expensive anthropic models. They were the only SOTA model for coding for awhile but not anymore. My c# AI dev setup is now VSCode + #Cline + #Requesty + (Gem 2.5 Pro || Sonnet || Deepseek) + Supermaven. BUT...I do love the CLI DX Claude code has cooking

Again..you are right. US is showing some bad --behavior-- 😉

Ah your right...this making American English most definitely the most popular for English 👌

Not according to my Google search 😉. Does make me wonder given the amount of business with US if the presumptuous that the English speaker are mostly using British English is even valid 🤔

When you figure how to bring down your cost of living. Sorry to break it to ya but...the majority of the economic growth and prosperity is still in the hands of the few on the West Coast

That's the Obama I remember. Loved his oration...but rarely actually delivered... surprisingly unlike Biden. Naysayers will point out Obamacare...but that was a C- solution..too late. The billionaire class poisons all things

Yeah man, the Cline folks are 💯 cool folks, open source, and make great shit They just started a YT channel (cline-bot)...but yeah...you be blown away with pairing Cline with 2.5 pro 🚀

If you happen to be using VSCode, I highly recommend doing a similar experiment with the Cline Extension. Cline.bot 👌

Not my experience at all. What AI assistant did you happen to use and how much context did your repo consume?

Have you used the Microsoft.Extensions.AI? See minute 7:50 of this video demonstrating this exact use case 👍 youtube.com/watch?v=4B3p... In general this is such a fantastic library and has made LLM interactions soooo simple it's a crime

It is...but honestly...so is the whole MCP protocol frankly. That being said, the package is quite usable

Just did the same but using cline.bot as my AI assistant in VSCode Just the ability to download a single, standalone exe that just works instead fighting a users python or Nodejs environment needs to be screamed from the rooftops

The entire security realm around AI is being cast aside like a Jedi mind trick. They just want the lay non-technical VPs & vibe founders to salivate over the "potential" of it all I'll be a believer once I see a product from OpenAI solely built with it...and maintained for about 6 months.

I switched to using straight VSCode + #cline + supermaven free. 🤘 For CLI I use llm.datasette.io Might give them a whirl

If each user is getting their own profile then it's a non issue. If everyone logs in as "user1"...they...you have way bigger problems. We had labs that were the former, the. 25% of people bitched and now login under the same user and ITS A FRIGGIN NIGHTMARE.

Yeah. 40mins later. Captain: gonna be longer than expected yet. Your free to move about and use the restroom. Will let you know as we get closer.... 😏👏👏

Let's hope no one has to use the bathroom. 🤷‍♂️ I know the rationale, I just disagree when we all know we are an hour away. The pilot can give the crew as heads up and just re-perform the crosschecks in 5 mins 🙄 lame

The problem is that capital is all blocked from flowing like a dam by the rich. Like layoffs followed bonuses, or 70% of profits going to exec compensation, VC hearing all the ideas first to invest first. We need shit to remove the dam 👍
