In the UK, there is still no law that stops trans people from using the toilets that match their gender. That includes after the UK Supreme Court ruling on 16 April 2025, which the usual suspects are already trying to twist into a bathroom ban. 👉🏻 tacc.org.uk/2025/04/23/t...

Mantic have dropped the news on this one now, and so can I. This is the champion for the trident realms for the kings of war Champions game. A commission from Mantic for their studio. #nerdlings #warmongers #kingsofwar

No seriously, give this a try. The Discord is new and you will have *incredibly good odds* to win some cool RPG stuff. This isn't the only competition we're running!

The final version of the rules for Star Wars Legion's new edition are up on the @atomicmassgames.bsky.social website - so what's new? Here's our summary: www.wargamer.com/star-wars-le... #starwars #starwarslegion #nerdlings

Had the absolute pleasure of editing @tjohnlinward.bsky.social's Nine Sols retrospective. One of those pieces that's a privilege to read before everyone else. Take a look! www.pcgamesn.com/nine-sols/in...

A rare freelance piece from me: www.pcgamesn.com/nine-sols/in... An interview with the creators of Nine Sols, a game that utterly obsessed me at the start of the year.

Help us get to 6,000 follows before the campaign launches and the end of April. gamefound.com/en/projects/...

I've seen many people suggest that tabletop games firms can "just make games in America". Well, here's an interview with someone who's doing /just that/ - who put years and over a million dollars into building just the minimum viable version of a factory. This is what it really takes.

Just build it in America? Industry veteran Daniel Block has built a factory so he can make his new wargame @zeogenesis.com on American soil - he explains why tariffs put it all in jeopardy: www.wargamer.com/zeo-genesis/... #miniaturewargame #wargames #tariffs #manufacturing #nerdlings

Where can I watch this anime?

A flight of ibis, scoop winged, recurve necks, white on sky white, heading around the knot for the mudflats off Far Arnside.

The @steamforgedgames.bsky.social Adepticon presentation for #Warmachine was 45 minutes of ideas so good, the game could be set to make #Warhammer40k sweat: www.wargamer.com/warmachine/i... #nerdlings

What a unit!

Very sad news: legendary 1990s White Dwarf editor and co-founder of Warlord Games Paul Sawyer has died of brain cancer. www.wargamer.com/paul-sawyer-... #wargames #boltaction #whitedwarf

The reveals coming out of Adepticon are pure fire this year. Cathay and Space Wolves from GW, Steamforged absolutely killing it for Warmachine, the Banished for Halo Flashpoint, Battletech Gothic... #nerdlings #adepticon

Want to shout out this great video by @roguehobbies.bsky.social - it gave me the confidence to try out 3d sculpting, and it's going great so far youtu.be/Lna6m_kdH30?... #nerdlings #sculpting

Remember Mighty Max? Whoever said 'What if Polly Pocket, but for boys?' was a genius.

Big mood.

As someone who writes for a living, and wants to use this site (in part) to crow about my and my colleague's work, this is so good. It also makes it easier for me to use BSky as a research tool to discover interesting stories, and simply keep up with the world.

For videogames, Pokémon For cartoons, Digimon. Haven't played the Digimon card game, so can't compare that to Pokémon TCG. For monster design, Pokémon if we're just talking about the 90s, those were tight designs. But now that Pokémon is also a mess, Digimon's wackiness is more of a vibe.

Passive aggressive Nasa data hints we could be living in a nicer neighbourhood, if we put some actual effort into getting promoted.

New data from NASA spring break party hits we could be living inside a K hole.

#1 takeaway from our interview with the developers of the upcoming Warhammer: The Horus Heresy RPG - this game cannot come out soon enough. We are frothing in anticipation. We are biting our knuckles. Just check it: www.wargamer.com/warhammer-ho... #ttrpg #horusheresy #warhammer40k #nerdlings.

One thing I absolutely did not remember about The Lion King - the slow mo fight scene at the end.

Please share and help if you can! The timing on all this has been really rough.

Palkia Ex players, have you considered... Origin Forme? #PokemonPocket

Submitted my entry to the Black LIbrary Open Submissions window. Fun as ever, and I'm satisfied that I've submitted better work than I've submitted before, so I feel satisfied in that. #nerdlings

Lots of experimental materials in this build, #nerdlings - a felt board base, with supports from an fdm print covered in plaster bandages to make ruined walls, and some press moulded magic sculpt to give textures.

Ok, we need a new James Bond AND a new Archbishop of Canterbury, and pretty soon it'll be time for another new Willy Wonka and a new Doctor Who. We need to economise. They should all be amalgamated into a single new character called Archdoctor Bondwonka.

Quick drafting Outlaws of Thunder Junction on #MTG arena and just ended a match by (deep breath) casting Lively Durge to return a Slickshot Lockpicker to the battlefield, letting me Flashback a Cruel Ultimatum, triggering my Lazav to turn into a Shepherd of the Clouds and swing in for lethal.

Clipping the paint golem's toenails. Always a troublesome task.

Always a pleasure to talk to the wonderful folks at Cubicle7, and I am really very stoked to test the game as soon as it's available.

Weird ask, but would any comic creators who have made SFW Lotara / Angron fanart be happy for me to include it as an illustration in a news piece going out in about twenty minutes? Would link to your online profile of choice.

A photograph of me painting on the train yesterday - thanks to the nice art professor who took the pic!
