Folks, if you vandalize someone’s car, don’t cry to me when you get in trouble.

My advice is to ignore the advice of people on the internet and contact your agency's general counsel or another attorney.

Will 2 million 1. Go 2. Fu 3. ck 4. your 5. self replies be useful in training LLM AI?

If Trump doesn't respond, does that mean he's resigned?

1st: vaccines work 2nd: social media companies developed their OG vaccine policies in response to *outbreaks like this* in Samoa & Bklyn. Not COVID! They boosted good info. They labeled false claims. That got redefined as “censorship” by ppl who profit from lies. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/22/u...

What’s laughable is how little waste they have found. Every Silicon Valley enterprise I’ve been a part of blows a month’s rent daily on sushi and Uber Black

Interesting thing for the President to say about a person who, according the government’s lawyers, “has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions himself” and “only has the ability to advise the President, or communicate the President’s directives.”

We need more of these journalists.

I think it's more to do with what they won't sign off on in the future. But if memory serves, wasn't the Insurrection Act a big part of Project 2025? Maybe it drops next week?

None of this has anything to do with effectiveness, or “lethality,” or promoting “warfighters," or any other buzzwords. It is praetorianism, plain and simple, and it is an assault on our military and our democracy. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Now would be a very good time for every former president, secretary of defense, service chief, service secretary and other officials to speak out and to speak out loudly.

Staffing the security apparatus and justice department with loyalists and purging non loyal elements is a hallmark of authoritarian regimes. It’s not a “shake up”; it’s power consolidation.

So they removed the black chairman of the Joint Chiefs in the middle of his 4-year tour, without cause, and they're seeking to replace him with a white **retired** Air Force three-star general who lacks the requisite experience as a service chief or combatant commander? Huh, how about that

Firing the CJC and CNO, for having the audacity to be black and female, is bad. Firing all the JAGs should set off alarm bells. They're removing the people who could fight back against illegal orders. Like firing on American citizens. Hate to be ominous, but we need to be clear eyed right now.

Firing all of the JAGs (Judge Advocates General)—the top lawyers in each service branch—is just as bad as, if not worse than, firing (most of) the Joint Chiefs.

Ah, so the replacement is Dan "Razin" Caine. $50 says Trump chose him just because of the name.

I don't know if it's true, but I'm hearing Trump's bringing in a *retired* AF three star to replace Brown. That's beyond the pale.

Firing the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs for no legitimate reason should add to this.

If you're thinking about public protests, you'd better do it soon because they will likely have people in place soon who will be willing to obey illegal orders.

Looks like Trump has fired Gen CQ Brown, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff.

Just saw a commercial from our governor touting how much money he's saved Oklahoma. If that's the case, why did he just create Oklahoma's very own DOGE? Seems kind of wasteful.

Seems like an opportunity for Dem candidates to show up and ask how they can help.

Six House lawmakers with military backgrounds are demanding answers from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth about his reported plans to fire top generals and flag officers.

@adamprz.bsky.social started a new Substack that's basically a diary and it's quite interesting. Here's what he wrote on February 14th:

Still slaps. "Strengthen and increase our admiration for honest dealing and clean thinking, and suffer not our hatred of hypocrisy and pretence ever to diminish." www.west-point.org/academy/malo...

Nate Dogg deserves the MVP!

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled NHL programing. #GoAvsGo

Still can't stand Binnington after he threw the tantrum with Naz.

And I was just about to post something about McDavid's absence.

This is dangerous and wrong.

It is kind of ironic that Trump wants Canada as his 51st state, but all of his efforts appear to be turning America into Russia’s 47th oblast.

I love hockey, but I'd almost rather watch the Nuggets tonight because the "shut up and dribble" crowd who couldn't find Canada on a map of Canada and think there's dribbling in hockey are kind of ruining what was otherwise a brilliant idea by the NHL.

Last I checked there was a federal criminal statute on extortion that’s enforced by the United States Department of Jus— … oh wait, never mind

People have gone to jail for less.

This is extortion.

Jeez, I wonder why an organization that has people living undercover in hundreds of countries around the world would want to recruit “diverse” individuals? The stupidity is breathtaking. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/20/u...

Patel committed perjury, invoked the 5th Amendment because of his involvement in criminal activity, and has called his future employees criminals and liars. He wouldn't be hired by the FBI through the regular application process. Now he's going to lead it.

Yep. And that's why if Tommy Tuberville can figure out how to block military promotions, the Dems need to, also.

In the most unsurprising news of the day...

This is beyond stupid. FBI agents won't be able to conduct investigations because they won't be able to travel outside the office. None of this is about efficiency. In fact, it's the opposite.

I figured this was coming. This will be the point of no return. They want to install their cronies asap. They want general officers who will carry out their orders if it comes to that.

He's going to do to the United States what he did to his casinos.

Good Lord, spare me the smort takes about how “The Long Live the King nonsense is just a distraction from what’s really IMPORTANT” etc. Faith in regimes has suddenly collapsed over much less. Besides, if what’s really important was really important, Trump wouldn’t have a career in the first place.

Congress has the power to put an end to it, but they refuse to do it. They could impeach him and let Vance know he'd be next if he doesn't change. Then they could restore some semblance of functioning government and have DOJ go hard after the people making the threats.
