This is exactly something I would have done a decade ago ... I think i've finally got to the point where practical productivity is more important than trying to do everything myself, or over-optimizing my dev environment ...

I looked for ages for a good notes solution both on desktop and mobile. I just wanted to use vscode but the syncing to mobile devices never worked well. Every solution was a little messy. Eventually I decided I could just use obsidian with their sync for $5 a month or whatever. It has vim keys too
