You rightly credit CC Sabathia for his ârole mentoring younger Black players,â but he has been supportive of all Black players. Without fanfare he attended the unveiling of the Fergie Jenkins statue at Wrigley Field; I assume he was there to support Fergie. This Cubs fan was moved by the gesture.
