Rangers do things like check trails for floods, washouts, and rock slides. In the winter rangers close off trails found to be unsafe because of ice or risk of avalanche. Rangers check for wildfire risk. This is -insane-. Like disbanding all police and firefighters in LA. It will be chaos.
