The real read of it is Trudeau is wasting time and harming the LPC by clinging onto power and using giveaways as a desperate attempt to regain his electoral footing. We need a serious government who can credibly challenge the CPC, because a Liberal government is the best option to fight Trump.

Id also say it speaks to Trudeau’s lack of understanding the political reality. Not enough progress has been made on important policy fronts (immigration, housing, cost of living) and he’s in denial about how screwed he is. Hes kinda just mailing it in with these stupid gimmicks

Ezra is saying Twitter is useful for factional discussions. Who is 1) in the Democratic coalition unaware of the stakes of Trump winning 2) would have been swayed by Ezra Klein posts? I don’t think that person exists. Further to that, he did participate in the discussion on his very popular podcast.

Asked this on the No-No Platform, but do you have data to compare Reinbacher to guys drafted from later drafts? It’s great to see he compares favourably to his peers, but I’m wondering about someone like Heiskanen or Dahlin for example.
