Went to Somerset, KY the other day to do some family history research at graveyards and found out that my Great Great Grandpa's sister married Frank Albert Lewis . The name didn't register until I remembered the name branded on an old Knights of Columbus sword that's been in the family for years!

Finally home from Somerset! Got some details of an amazing discovery I made today... Soon! Now, food time!

Bojangles break! Made a trip down into Kentucky for some Nelson family history searching! Found the gravesite of my Great Great Great Grandfather buried at the church he was once minister at. There, I also found many other Nelsons and Halls and Lewis's that the family has also diverged into!

Let's see how the weather is looking this afternoon for the downtown race... If I die, I die!

Totally not me having a dream where the Crystal Gems moved next door to Ralphie's family from A Christmas Story! What even caused this one!? I'm calling it "Steven Universe Bumpus"

Had some visitors to my frog hotel last night, seven in total! From the two that checked into the couples suite there may be more on the way!

I'll be running in The Scurry on Friday and it's been raining too bloody much to get out and get my legs prepped! Doesn't help that my cat fell off my lap and tried to grab onto my leg on the way down. At least I can still do some situps! :)

A house just showed up for super cheap and we are gonna take a look at it tomorrow! It's a fixer upper that we can restore within the realm of possibility depending on how the showing goes. Even then, the monthly cost will still be cheaper than what we pay for rent right now!

My mom’s parents grew up on Illinois farms. My mom remembers how they’d haul the cans of raw milk down to the road to be picked up by the milk truck for processing at the local dairy. None of them ever drank raw milk, because it was fcking dangerous.

Who knew a fish could express "What the fuck was that?" with such ease.

Had to email my insurance, electric company, doctor, dentist, and school loans because contrary to popular belief there's only so much butt-fuckin' I can take! Seriously though, if the school loans weren't there I'd be a different man overnight Onto happier news! Finishing Steven Universe this week

Back from camping: 40 degree weather, wind, rain, ticks galore, asthma attack, soaked food/clothes/tent interior, main road turning to chocolate milk... I want a mulligan!

I'll be going off the grid for a few days while I'm out in the wilderness to reconnect with life. Gotta remember I've got the gift of life and I'm not just a set of tasks to get done during the day! Be back next week! :)

Yo! It's @arozotir.bsky.social's birthday today and also the day the world was rid of Hitler 80 years ago! A win-win! Shame there's no grave to tapdance on all Groucho Marx style!

Recently received these and just finished the inventory... 179 disks in all including tons of Lotus, Rainbow, CPM and DOS applications largely from the 80s, including some curious prospect documents and Disney labeled disks. Going to bring out the old 5170 to make sure they all work and dump em!

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom official review by @arozotir.bsky.social ------------- "The thing I love most about this game is that you can jump on the trees!" 10/10

Well this was a pleasant surprise! Talking Trek to someone and I happen to pull out my Laserdisc for First Contact and the purchase receipt was still in the sleeve! Dated November 1st, 1997 for $34.23

I am a very simple man. Just replace the word "heart" with "fart" in song titles and lyrics and that's plenty entertainment for me!

Still fighting the $500 bill from the doctor looking at my junk and telling me to eat healthy. Rejected appeal said "infertility treatment not covered" and I'm using that as ammo as there was no treatment (and the blood lab after WAS covered)! HR cant do anything so I'm climbing the insurance ladder

Slow day at work and I've had this fuzzy, warm, funky lo-fi album stuck in my head all day! Seriously, it's embedded in there pretty good! Ow!

Went to the local antique mall for my dad's birthday and came across these two cameras for next to nothing and they both still work! The old Kodak fold is from 1909 and once I can get 3D printed adapters it should be able to take the 120 film I have handy. Currently in the process of being cleaned!

Star trek had a lot of hard lines over the years, but this remains the fucking hardest

Neil banging out the tunes - June 30th, 1997 youtu.be/6XPrNGpzeGI?...

A game I wish I could experience fresh as a kid again. I miss the feeling of sitting on this screen for what felt like minutes on end and building up the courage and mindset to face the boss either for the first time or after getting through a memorable tough stage.

"BOTH OF MY FAVORITE BANDS!! What are they doing here?!"

There was a Nintendo 64 racing game with this ad billboard in the background of one of the tracks and I cannot recall which game it was! If anyone knows please shout out!

Waking everyone up this morning by blaring the theme song to Step By Step

Bring back proper games journalism.

Lots of anniversaries today! 100 years for The Great Gatsby being published, 55 for McCartney leaving The Beatles and 6 for the M87 black hole which I still need to make my desktop background!

Mitosis in progress. Commencing cytokinesis process.

Lori Beth Denberg reprised her All That librarian character to do a pro-library, anti-book banning reel and I love it so much??? www.instagram.com/reel/DIK0_bD...

Today is when I put my calming meditation to the test while at work. Send me all the good vibes!

List five famous people you've met, but one is a lie: Richard Petty Adam West Lawrence Gowan (of Styx) while in fursuit Carl Palmer Markiplier

The past two weeks have been preparation for a 10th birthday, a wild spring break full of sick child, said birthday, tornados and storms and a re-do birthday party at Urban Air with further car troubles! So glad that the prospect for the next week allows me to finally take it easy! :)

The world is going Gary, Indiana it seems! Stick close and focus on your friends and those that make you happy! They are your best travel partners! :)

Found a complete Kodak setup in the trash yesterday and everything still works really well! The printouts are better quality than what I get at the local Walgreens, surprisingly!
